 My name is Marsha Looper, and I have lived in Colorado for over 45 years, and in the Colorado Springs area for 34+ years, raising our two sons and daughter. My husband and I own a cattle ranch in eastern El Paso County and have been involved in agriculture, construction and the real estate industry for over 35 years.

 My life experiences include working as a Systems Engineer for IBM, owner of an engineering company supporting IBM network and mainframe architecture, builder, appraiser, realtor and Colorado State Representative. In the early 2000’s our ranch was in the middle of an eminent domain fight, and I stood with my neighbors fighting the government and private companies whom wanted to condemn our homes. We, the people WON!

 

In 2006, I was elected into the Colorado House of Representatives, representing Eastern El Paso County. Working on laws to protect home and business owners from eminent domain, real estate fraud, creating additional military benefits for our veterans and active duty military families and working to protect our water, wildlife and natural resources were my top priorities.
